There’s something about wood serving boards that create a mood for me. It gives warmth and a feeling of home.

I try to create a unique look and feel in every board I make, something beyond ordinary that adds character and quality. To create a charcuterie display shows your guests that they are welcome in your home, that your time together is a gift to be celebrated.

When I purchase planks of wood I spend a lot of time sorting through selections looking for unique characteristics in the grain. As I’m designing, I align patterns and colors to create balance and unique quality to build from. Each board I create has a character of its own. I make boards one at a time, never rushing the process. My boards represent my time and ideas, the skills I’ve developed and my own process of design.

Each board is meant to be functional but also a statement, an attractive piece that keeps your attention and draws you in. It is my art, my visual and physical expression.
